CHINGGIS KHAAN'S CAVALRY RIDERS BACK
Show in wild nature

In 1206 Genghis Khan and his cavalry began a massive campaign that resulted in the largest overland empire the world has ever seen. In summer 2006, they return home 800 years after the dawn of their reign.

A featured part of the festivities for 800 anniversary will be The Cavalry Ride taking place throughout 2007 summer months. This show will be organised in 70 kms west from Ulaanbaatar city in the area of Sergelen Sum of Tov province and it takes 1 hour driving on the paved road. Travellers can use any vehicles to reach the place.

The show will go between July-September in 2008. The Show Schedule is:
Between July 10- August 1: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Betweeen 1-31, August: Everyday

The Folklore Concert starts by 12a.m, Cavalry Riders show will start at 3p.m, then at 5 p.m International music and songs concert lasts untill 7.00p.m. The show cost is 65USD per person.

A cloud of dust slowly emerges from the distant grasslands; a 2 hour historical spectacle begins. The 500 man cavalry is comprised entirely of soldiers, who are dressed in mongolian military costumes and armed with swords. Some of soldiers hold the national blue flag with the sun and moon.

As the cavalry emerges out of the grassland steppe in cloud of dust, a fearsome spectacle is relived. The sight of the procession of soldiers marching in a straight line reminds us of Genghis Khan's mighty army. Also their fighting and some activities will make more surprising and exciting for real experiencing.

Experience the awesome power of Cinggis Khaan's cavalry as 500 Mongolian soldiers reconstruct the force that shaped history. This is once-in-a-lifetime event, which lasts over two hours, runs from, July through September 2008. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event.
