Telephone/Internet:
An Asiatic earth station provides international telecommunications. Therefore, during the stay in any hotel in Ulaanbaatar , the travelers can completely be provided with service of international calling, facsimile service, and connection with internet networking. Country code is 976 and Ulaanbaatar code is 11. However, in countryside, it is not available to use internet yet.
Television/Radios:
Also in hotels travelers can receive brand news in the channels of following TV-s: CNN, BBC, NHK, MBS so on. There are FM Radios such as Voice of Mongolia.
Cellular phone:
Moreover, anyone, who wants to use the cellular phones in not only in Ulaanbaatar , but also in other provinces, they are able to use hand phones with CDMA or GSM systems.
Press:
The main press in Mongolian is newspaper Today, Daily News, but UB Post and Business times are popularly read in English and also there are some special publishing for travelers like Traveler's news… These English presses are delivered and sold in hotels' business centers, reception desks and travel information centers.
Airmail:
Post airmail to overseas takes up 2 weeks in usual. There is DHL service in Ulaanbaatar . You can send parcels and post cards at the Central Post office in Ulaanbaatar /on the south west corner of the Sukhbaatar square/. Philatelists delight in Mongolia 's eclectic offering of stamps, many of which are worth picking up as souvenirs.
