Staying with nomads – That is very different lifestyle. But it is nice chance to experience what nomadic civilization is. Can you imagine yourself staying in nomads dwelling Ger- round shaped felt covered dwelling, talking with nomads, looking at what are they doing and what do they thinking, what do they believe? When you join with nomads' family, the days will be passed as quickly as you can not observe. In the afternoon you will be busy with experiencing the nomads' daily activities, but in the evening you will enjoy with warm from fire in the stove, lying on the bed and looking at glittering stars in the sky. |
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar capital
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar city, Transfer to hotel, Accommodation, Lunch in Chinggis restaurant, City tour including visits to Gandantegchilen Monastery- Present biggest monastery, which houses for giant standing Buddha statue, National History Museum gives you real insight into Mongolian origin and history, Natural History Museum offers nice chance to see petrified dinosaur skeletons and nestled eggs, Visit main Square Sukhbaatar, Friendship Monument on Zaisan hill, Free time for shopping the main street shops, art shops and antique shops, National Folk Performance Concert with songs and contortion acts, Dinner, Stay in hotel
Day 2: Terelj National Park
Breakfast, Drive to Terelj National Park /80 km/, This park comprises splendid mountain ranges, pristine water river and caves and wonderful green meadow with edelweiss, Explore ovoo-pile of stones for nature worshipping, cave, small mining research hole, Turtle shaped original giant rock, Lunch, Visit to Princess Palace Ruins dated to 18 century, which palace history was connected with Mongolian history, Trekking around the temple, Dinner, Stay in the tourist Ger camp

Day 4: Bayan area

Day 7: Wild Horses National Park

Day 9: Tovkhon Temple
Breakfast, Trekking visit to Tovkhon Buddhist temple, Hiking to small cave called mother belly, Hiking to the peak of hill with stupa, where the surrounding nature view looks very fascinating, Lunch, trekking in the wild nature, Drive to Khara Khorum back, Dinner, Stay in tourist camp
Day 10 : Ulaanbaatar
