Don't:

  • Don't Refuse rigidly, try little bit and give it back, if you do not want, when Mongolians serve you with meal or tea
  • Don't Ask women's age directly.
  • Don't Touch the Altar or other cattle instruments without asking for permission, when you are visiting nomads' house-Ger
  • Don't Whistle inside a ger or house belonging to Mongolians
  • Don't Touch Mongolians' head, hat and shoulders
  • Don't Take food from plate with your left hand

Do:

  • Please, Keep your hat on, when entering ger
  • Please, Take of your hat, when you entering temples and monasteries
  • Please, Receive things with your both hands
  • Please, Leave small gifts at the end of your visit to nomads' house
  • Please, Grab the hand of a Mongolian, if you have accidentally kicked their feet
