TIME and BUSINESS HOURS
Difference between GMT and Ulaanbaatar time is 7 hours in winter, in summer 8 hours. Airline offices are open from 9 a.m to 8 p.m everyday in summer time. But in winter time for weekends they are open 9 a.m-4 p.m. Banks: Golomt Bank's branches-1, 2, 5, 8, Mongol Shuudan Bank in Tourist Street,, Anod Bank Main Branch in Ard Cinema Building, Ulaanbaatar Bank main branch in Hudaldaanii street are open 24 hours everyday in any season and during any celebration. Souvenir shops and cashmere shops are always open until 8 p.m in summertime.
If you are planning to visit to museums and galleries , it is available between 10 a.m and 5 p.m in summer and winter time. When you have a domestic departure flight to rural areas, it is better to get airport one hour before of the departure. If it is international flight departure, you should to check in at the counter 2 hours before the departure.
There are nightclubs ; disco bars, karaoke bars and pubs are open until 2 a.m.
