Snow & Ice Festival for 2008
It is held at shore of lake Khuvsgul in 20-21, February 2007. The festival consists of exciting activities and performances like Ice creation competiition, Ceremony of offering of ikh Khaan Saridag and Dalai Eej. (Shaman Ceremony), Concert by actresses from the Music & Drama Theatre, Caribou sleigh event , Competition of horse sledding and reindeer sledding on ice of lake, Competition of driving jeep on ice, skating, fishing and lots of games.

Mongolian New Year in lunar calendar for 2008
All of Mongols celebrate the Lunar Calendar New Year, which is called in Mongolia Tsagaan Sar or the White Month, in 18, February 2007. During the New Year celebration Mongolians array in traditional outfits, prepare traditional food, pay tribute to religious and hereditary customs, and relish singing and having fun .

Camel Festival for 2008
Gobi desert people happily organise and participate in Bactrian Camel Festival in February each year. This extraodinary festival allows travelers a rare opportunity to interact with and learn first-hand about Bactrian camels and camel herder nomads' lifestyle. Highlights of the festival include camel racing of more than 1000 camels, performances by traditional Mongolian musicians and dancers, competition of gorgeous nomad spouse on horseback of beautifully dressed camel. Roaring Hoofs International Festival of Live Music
Festival of Live music is organised in June-August in wild nature, place, which is most beautiful scenery and sacred places or main tourism destination areas. Mongolia Sunrise to Sunset Ultra Marothon for 2008
Ultra Marothon is held annually in 25-30 June at the shore of lake Khuvsgul , which is located in middle of impressive green forest and mountainous area. This 100 km marothon starts in 3a.m before sunrising and continues untill late evening. The marothan lasts through forest, green meadow, along the shore of lake, near the tepee family and on high rolling hills. Participation fee is 100-500USD depending on early booking or not.

Reindeer Festival for 2008
Every year, 28-30,June Reindeer Festival is held by tepee people, who lives in tent in high mountains and take care for herds of reindeers and believe in shamanism. Festival is held always on the shore ofKhuvsgul lake. Festival is enriched with lots of acts such as concert of Darhad folklore songs, marching of reindeer herds, fire worshipping festival, shaman rituals, display about tepee people and their reindeer herd.

Naadam Festival
Mongolian nationwide Naadam festival is held annually in 11-12,July and it is inherited from ancient time. Naadam means games and it consists of national wrestling, horseracing with kidjockeys, archery and anklebone targeted flicking competitions, which express courage, strength and coolness. Also lots of impressive performances such as Opera, Contorion circus and national concerts are presented to public.

Alive Museum of 13th Century
A 40 meter statue of Chinggis Khaan mounted on horseback and holding horsewhip will be discovered on the way to Alive museum of 13 th century. The musuem displays the authentic lifestyle of mongols, who were living in Chinggis Khan's period.

Warriors, who are dressed in ancient national costumes-armours and holding spears and swords, will greet travellers near the main gate of this mini world. Travellers should get the Gerege /used as passport in 13 th century/ and they have right to enter the city.

Chinggis Khan's Cavalry Show
This once-in-a-lifetime event is held everyday between 10,July -1,Sep at Sergelen sum in the distance of 60 km from Ulaanbaatar city. A cloud of dust slowly emerges from the distant grasslands; a 2 hour historical spectacle begins. The sight of the procession of 500 soldiers, who mounted on horseback and dressed in ancient military costumes and armed with swords and shields, and their marching in a straight line reminds us of Genghis Khan's mighty army.
